The Coastal Cities at Risk in the Philippines team met with Pasig City officials last April 24, 2019 to discuss the possibility of having Pasig City serve as a testbed for the Systems Thinking Tools developed by the CCARPH. During this meeting, Dr. Emma Porio of CCARPH presented CCARPH’s initiatives. Dr. Kendra Gotangco of CCARPH presented on developing a City Resilience Suite of Systems Thinking Tools, and the possibility of having a MOU between CCARPH and the City Government of Pasig.
Mr. Ritchie Angeles also gave a tour of Pasig City’s DDRM Office, showcasing the technology utilized by the Pasig City Government for disaster risk resilience.
Present from the Pasig City Government were Mr. Joel Santiago of the Sanitation and Health Office, Ms. Milet Ancheta of the Department of Social Welfare and Development Office, and Ms. Grace Nerona of the City Planning Office. CCARPH team members who were present include Ms. Jean Jardeleza, Ms. Jairus Josol, and Ms. Leal Rodriguez.
