The Coastal Cities at Risk in the Philippines team met with City Government of Valenzuela officials last April 30, 2019 to discuss the next steps of the CCARPH-Valenzuela City Partnership. During this meeting, Dr. Emma Porio of CCARPH presented CCARPH’s Initiatives for Work Package 1.2 and 2. Dr. Ramon Clarete presented on the Computable General Equilibrium Model. Lastly, Dr. Kendra Gotangco on Developing a City Resilience Suite of Systems Thinking Tools.
Other points for discussion were possible test sites for the various models presented during this meeting, as well as a discussion of the next steps between CCARPH and the City Government of Valenzuela

Evangelista, OIC of the City Social Welfare and Development Office, Dr. Jaime M. Exconde, OIC of the City Health Office, Dr. Arnaldo F. Antonio, Head of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Mr. Rene Antonio I. Padolina of the City Planning and Development Office, Ms. Jessabel Reyes of the City Social Welfare and Development Office, and Ms. Rachel Anne M. Mallarpis of the City Environment and Natural Resources Office. CCARPH team members who were present include Ms. Jean Jardeleza, and Ms. Leal Rodriguez.
