An Easter Sunday mass was held for the Integrity of God’s Creation with Fr. Jojo Fung, Sj last April 21, 2019. This mass for creation was organized by CCARPH with our CBO partner, Buklod Tao founder, Manuel Abinales/Ka Noli and the East Asian Pastoral Institute Director, Fr. Jojo Fung, SJ. This is part of the latter’s preparation for his writing fellowship in Laudato Si Center in Oxford, England where he will write his book on the spirituality, environment and climate change. A shamanic anthropologist, Fr. Jojo Fung has worked with grassroots groups like the Karen Tribe in upland Cheingmai Thailand and other IPs in South/Southeast Asia. He lectured last year on spirituality and climate change in forum organized by Dr. Emma Porio, CCARPH Project Leader and ADMU SOSS Convenor of Environment, Society and Sustainable Development Research Cluster
In attendance were Dr. Emma Estenzo Porio, Genie Lorenzo, Ms. Tinay , Maribel Abinales Javier, Marie Jean Abinales Gonzales, Buklod Tao Board of Trustees, and Buklod ng Kabataan. It was held in Buklod Tao Garden (De Dios Compound, Banaba).
