The SAGIP exhibit highlights some of the Ateneo Innovation Center‘s technologies that are designed to help people in real-time disaster events and also empower communities to find ways to save themselves through accessible, affordable makeshift technologies.

The items on display help bridge the gap between basic needs and the constraints brought about by disaster events.

The word, sagip, means to save or to rescue which sums up how saving people in disaster events should not be grand but only efficient.

The physical SAGIP exhibit can be found at the Eduardo J. Aboitiz Sandbox Zone at the Areté, Ateneo de Manila University.
