As the Disaster Resilience Month comes to an end, experts, practitioners, national agencies, private sector and civil society convened for the National Disaster Resilience Summit at the Novotel, Araneta Center last July 30-31, 2019.
CCARPH actively participated in this two-day event that tackled the country’s Resilience initiatives alongside the Sendai Priority Agenda. This year’s theme is “On the Road to Resilience: A Whole-of-Society Approach”.
CCARPH and its private sector partner, National Resilience Council, hosted a booth that showcased the maps generated by experts from Manila Observatory and the disaster technologies of Ateneo Innovation Center.
CCAR scientists and advisers were part of the panel of discussants and moderators.
