CCARPH Project Manager Emily Roque-Sarmiento and Research Assistant Ina Salas attended the Academic Partners’ (APs) Business Meeting of the National Resilience Council (NRC) on September 19, 2019, in Berjaya Hotel, Makati City. The academic partners of NRC include the Bataan Peninsula State University, Visayas State University, Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan, Ateneo de Zamboanga, and the University of the Philippines – Visayas. Joined by the APs of NRC are the Manila Observatory, and CCARPH.

Updates on CCAR were presented, including activities from the month of June to September 2019, and engagements with partner-cities. The updates were also presented on behalf of the Ateneo de Naga University. These were gathered through a Progress Report Meeting held on September 17, in the CCARPH Office. Representatives from Ateneo de Naga University joined in the meeting and presented their findings to the CCARPH Work Packages through Zoom video conference call.
