CCARPH Scientist Majah-Leah Ravago receives NAST Outstanding Book Award for “Powering the Philippine Economy: Electricity Economics and Policy”

CCARPH wishes to congratulate Dr. Majah-Leah Ravago and her team, James Roumasset, Rolando Danao, for receiving the NAST (National Academy of Science and Technology) Outstanding Book Award for their publication, “Powering the Philippine Economy: Electricity Economics and Policy

This book is published by the University of the Philippines Press, available at https://press.up.edu.ph/store/books/view_item/703

Dr. Ravago is the lead researcher in CCARPH for the study, “Impact of extreme rainfall days on the Welfare of households in the formal and informal sectors.” With Gerald Gracius Pascua, Loubill Dayne Aceron, Emilio Gozo, Faye Cruz and Gemma Narisma, an article on their research was featured in Business Mirror (Read: Impact of extreme rainfall days on the well-being of households in the formal and informal sectors)
