As part of the institutionalization agenda of the Coastal Cities at Risk in the Philippines project, the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (PLMun) held online capacity-building workshop sessions for 40 out of 400 of their faculty members from different departments, including administrators, deans, and chairpersons. The workshop sessions were held for three Fridays, from May to June 2021, facilitated by Dr. Emma Porio (CCARPH Project Leader and Principal Investigator).
The targeted output of the workshop sessions is the revision of PLMun’s NSTP and General Education courses in order to integrate risk-informed, resilience-driven planning, as well as to introduce the concept of gender, climate, disaster resilience, and sustainability.
The handover of the revised syllabi, facilitated by Dr. Rowena Dela Cruz (Office-in-Charge of PLMun’s Research and Extension Development Office), was held on June 11, 2021.
