An online ceremonial signing of the Research and Collaboration Agreement between the Ateneo de Manila University (represented by ADMU President Fr. Roberto C. Yap, S.J. and CCARPH Project Leader Dr. Emma E. Porio) and Visayas State University (represented by VSU President Dr. Edgardo E. Tulin) was held last June 30, 2021 via Zoom.
The agreement intends to promote exchanges between the two universities for the next three years that will contribute to building inter- and transdisciplinary climate and disaster resilience research and applications in their respective teaching, research, and extension programs.
Others present during the signing were Dr. Fabian Antonio Dayrit (Professor Emeritus, ADMU Department of Chemistry), Dr. Jose Jowel Canuday (Chair, ADMU Department of Sociology and Anthropology), Dr. Maria Elissa Lao (Director, ADMU University Gender and Development Office), Ms. Maria Aurora Teresita Tabada (Head, VSU Gender Resource Center), Dr. Maria Juliet Ceniza (Vice President, VSU Research, Extension, and Innovation), Atty. Rysan Guinocor (VSU Chief Legal Officer), Dr. Allen Glennie Lambert (Executive Secretary, VSU Office of the President), Ms. Ma. Elsa Umpad (Administrative Officer, VSU Office of the President), Mr. Kim Roca (VSU Integrated Media Center), and Ms. Patricia Diana Ayo (Research Assistant, Coastal Cities at Risk in the Philippines).
